No respite for mothers caring for children with a disability

This article in The Age highlights the vital importance of caring for and providing informed support for the mothers and carers of children and adults with significant disabilities. What is of great concern is that this support goes unfunded and therefore unrecognised by our governments. It would seem that with the rollout of the new National Disability Insurance Scheme that this an important issue that needs to be addressed and funded.
