COVID-19 UPDATE 5 August 2021

5 August, 2021

On behalf of the team at CPEC, we would like to thank all families for your ongoing understanding and support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of 8:00pm on Thursday 5th of August 2021, Victoria has now entered lockdown 6.0.

Similar to lockdown 5.0, CPEC will continue to provide essential therapy services.

In line with CPEC’s ongoing strict COVID safe procedures, all visitors are required to check in via the QR code and sign in book upon arrival and wear face masks at all times in the education centre. This is for the safety of all involved.

Individual services:

  • The use of Telehealth is encouraged as much as possible
  • Essential individual therapy sessions will continue at the centre with minimised physical contact. As a reminder please bring in your child’s own equipment – this may be a quilt, brush, arm wraps, leg wraps, etc.

Home, kinder, childcare and school visits

  • Will be limited to essential therapy services and assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please speak to your therapists if you have any concerns.

Group Programs

  • Early Intervention Group programs will be proceeding with the use of face masks, social distancing and mandated hand sanitisation. Please don’t forget to bring your child’s equipment
  • Extended Education (Chat) & (Motor) – Groups will continue via Telehealth.
