CPEC is an incorporated organisation (as of 8 May 2001) with income tax exempt (ITEC) status and deductible gift recipient (DGR) status with the Australian Tax Office.
Key Policies & Forms
CPEC’s Board of Management is comprised of a majority of parents whose children attend our Centre. We consider this important as it ensures our organisation’s direction always remains relevant to the people we support.
Tom’s daughter, Brooke, has early onset generalised dystonia and attends CPEC’s Extended Education program. He is currently employed as an IT Team Leader for IBM Australia. Before then he spent 30 years working within the banking industry for the National Australia Bank as an IT specialist, as well as undertaking various other roles such as in customer banking. Tom holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting).
Lawrence works in the Financial sector, and his son, James, currently attends CPEC’s Early Intervention program.
Claire is the Chief Executive Officer of CPEC, a senior Occupational Therapist, and one of CPEC’s original founders.
Kate works in the Science sector, and her daughter, Rose, currently attends CPEC’s Extended Education Program.
Andrew (Andy) is a Senior Lecturer at Monash University and is a sleep specialist. Andy’s youngest son Oliver attends CPEC’s early intervention program.
Michele currently holds the position of Events & Administration Officer at CPEC and has experience in Human Resources, Event Management, Administration, Reception, and a range of other roles.
Sue is the Business & Finance Manager of CPEC, and is responsible for enhancing the internal organisation processes and infrastructure and assists in setting the financial policy and direction of the organisation’s overall strategy. This includes financial administration, business planning and budgeting and working closely with the CEO. Sue is a qualified Accountant.
Peter has an engineering background and 20 years in the Not-For-Profit Industry Sector, with over 10 years as CEO. He is currently assisting CPEC with the business and governance requirements as CPEC transitions to the NDIS.
