Kindergarten & Daycare Training Sessions

This session covers topics including: an overview of cerebral palsy, communicating with a child with cerebral palsy; ways to enable children with severe cerebral palsy to participate actively (this will include some useful equipment); practical ideas for implementation of activities in the pre-school environment. The team presenting this information includes a physiotherapist, speech pathologist and occupational therapist.

This session covers the use of augmentative and alternative communication with children. This session is for those staff working with children who use an alternative communication method to speech, or use other types of communication as well as speech.
