CPEC is a registered NDIS Provider for therapy supports under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living Skills.

Free Information Evenings

CPEC hosts information evenings on the NDIS, where anyone interested is welcome to attend.

Content of this workshop includes:

  • What the NDIS is, why it is different and how it interacts with other government branches;
  • Who is eligible for and how to enrol in the NDIS;
  • What the NDIS includes and how the supports are categorised;
  • What does ‘making a plan’ mean and how do I go about it;
  • “Speaking NDIS” – understanding NDIS language; and
  • Questions as they arise.

The information contained in the workshop comes from NDIA delivered workshops, Disability Service Managers Meetings and direct involvement the NDIA, Planners and families already accessing the NDIS.

NDIS Pre-planning

CPEC offers families assistance to prepare for their NDIS Planning meeting.

All the CPEC staff available to assist with Pre-planning are well versed in the theory and operation of the NDIS and will assist you to identify, clarify and document:

  • Short and long term goals for you or your child;
  • The supports you are hoping to have funded;
  • Your Assistive Technology requirements;
  • Your informal supports;
  • How you are think about managing your plan.

Pre-planning meeting also offers you the opportunity to receive the latest knowledge of the operation of the NDIS and to discuss items specific to you.
