CPEC supports children in primary and secondary mainstream schools.
Our school-aged supports are available to children and teenagers who have previously graduated from CPEC’s Early Intervention Programs.
Group programs are held at CPEC and run after school hours (weekly or fortnightly depending on needs). These groups are an opportunity for students to further develop their fitness, wellbeing, communication, community access skills and life skills.
Our occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech pathologists visit schools to assist the children and school staff with curriculum adjustments, inclusion strategies, learning techniques, and environment modifications. CPEC is unique in providing these services. We give students opportunities to develop crucial life skills and learn alongside their peers, many of whom do not have disabilities and can benefit from getting to know children who do.
