Melissa Q
Physiotherapist
Mel is one of our Senior physiotherapists. She graduated from Melbourne University in 2008 (alongside Viki), and has since worked in paediatrics both in Melbourne and the UK, including University College London Hospital and the Portland Hospital. She has experience working with children with Cerebral Palsy, global developmental delay, torticollis, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy and toe walking. Mel’s interest lies with complex positioning and equipment prescription.
Mel loves CPEC’s transdisciplinary practice and is passionate about helping families embed therapy into daily routine so that they can continue exploring other interests. Mel’s role has evolved over the years to become a mentor to the younger physiotherapists and she enjoys passing on knowledge and learning from them
In her spare time Mel loves to travel, go on multi-day hikes, bouldering, baking and spending time with her golden retriever puppy.
